Anacreon(born ca. 570 BC) was a Greek lyric poet, notable for his drinking songs and hymns.Anacreon wrote all of his poetry in the ancient Ionic dialect. Like all early lyric poetry, it was composed to be sung or recited to the accompaniment of music, usually the lyre.Anacreon's poetry touched on universal themes of love, infatuation, disappointment, revelry, parties, festivals, and the observations of everyday people and life.

Black Tuesday

May 23,2006:
- The day democracy was sacrificed for votebank politics.
- The day the Government fell on deaf years and did not care about the
doctors, lawyers, engineers who are the ones responsible for putting India
on the world map.
- The day the proposal of 27% reservation for OBCs was passed.
- The day when I thought what makes a country, general people
(pun fully intended) or politicians?
- The day my patriotism wavered for the first time.
- The day when many like me would have questioned their importance in
the country.
- The day when reverse discrimination reared it's ugly head.
